The Prior Fleet
Previously, the FIL-W route was serviced by three vessels: the FESCO EKATERINA, FESCO YANINA, and FESCO ASKOLD, with capacities of 1,043 TEU, 962 TEU, and 1,080 TEU, respectively. This configuration effectively met the demands of the growing trade between Novorossiysk, India, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, but with the increasing volume of goods being transported, a larger vessel became essential.
Introducing the New Vessel
The latest addition to the fleet has already embarked on its inaugural journey along the FIL-W route, departing from Jebel Ali in the UAE with a cargo of imported goods headed for Novorossiysk. This vessel is designed to accommodate a significant increase in volume, positioning FESCO to better accommodate the rising demands of international shipping.
Alongside this new ship, two additional FESCO container ships, which have a combined capacity exceeding 2,000 TEU, continue to operate on the line.
